Richmond’s 1708 Gallery invites established and emerging artists working in all media and disciplines to submit proposals for the upcoming “InLight Richmond 2010,” a show of artwork inspired by light, which will take place October 22 in downtown Richmond. Preferences will be given to proposals that involve, investigate, interpret, or are inspired by light, either as a medium or as an abstract idea. Existing work, as well as proposals for new projects will be considered. The work will be selected by guest juror Adelina Vlas, Assistant Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Cash awards. Deadline for entry is June 21, 2010.
