Piedmont Virginia Community College present the fourth iteration of its annual exhibition honoring the winter solstice, “Let There Be Light.” For one night only, 20 artists— among them Lydia Moyer, John Grant, Stacey Evans, Shelby Fisher, Will May, Jeremy Taylor, and Allyson Melberg Taylor— present outdoor light-centered works. Chroma Projects presents four exhibitions. In the Main Gallery, sculptor Craig Pleasants displays “The Metaphorical House < Ten Homes for Haiti,” which explains his Octagonal Living Unit Project, designed to provide a small, affordable dwelling. The sale of the work will include the production of 10 more dwellings to be shipped to Haiti as a gift. In addition, Hana Kim-Lee shows “100 Bowls,” and Jessie S.
