Almost as much a staple as the legendary Christmas parties, the Rapunzel’s annual songwriting contest has local noobs and their acoustic guitars competing for cash and prizes (definite), fame and fortune (potentially), and bragging rights (definite again). This year’s judges include Anne Williams of WNRN’s “Acoustic Sunrise” program, guitarist Rick Olivarez, and local songwriter Joia Wood.
