FridaysUpdate: 'Titan' of the times: Dieselbilly legend 'hot rods' to town
(

)
Jeff: Bill Kirchen, 61 and still rockin. Remember 60 is the new 50.
Ivy Owl: Bill and his band were great! The guitar medley in Hot Rod Lincoln was unbeleivable. I wonder if there is a copy of this show out there.
The PowerHouse Trio

Jamal: Matt Horn will be joining us this evening!
Thrum, My Device, and The Library Is On Fire
(

)
Lance Brenner: Just to clarify, the recordings are totally analog/organic. No keyboards or samples are used. Live however, I manually trigger some homemade samples and Christine plays a foot controlled keyboard while she plays bass. We found that we had to employ these devices to recreate the fullness of a couple songs. Link to Thrum player:...
Zombie Bazooka Patrol

Brad: This band puts on an amazing live show. There songs are simple, catchy, and accessible, but retain an utter ridiculous nature that keeps things interesting. Their interaction with each other and the audience adds to an over arching story, worthy of early action comics, that unfolds through in the lyrics and antics during a set. If you even remotely...
dm: I do not care for an overarching storyline or ridiculous antics, I am more concerned with how the music sounds and they could have done a lot better especially with the "zombie shake" song, it is repetitive to the point of annoyance.
dm: Brad's comments have me thinking, "utter ridiculous nature... interaction with each other and the audience... absurd..." it sounds like it's a type of show for circus lovers.
RE: The ZBP are better band this dm guy's ever going to make. You might as well go jack off while listening the newest TV On The Radio record since you'll never have your face melted off by the ZBP.
dm: My face did not melt but my ear drums certainly did
dm: Seriously RE, if I were as tired as you being up at 4:35 am I would think crappy bands are awesome as well, what's even funnier is that you were probably "jacking off" just as you described, go to bed and get your head straight
